What we collect
Your name and email (for your account), your UPI ID and your groups' members' UPI IDs (to build payment links), and the expenses/payments you add. Optionally, receipt photos you attach.
How we use it
To run the app: authenticate you, sync your data across devices, and compute balances and settlements. We do not sell your data or show ads.
Payments
UPISplit does not process payments. Settling opens your own UPI app via a deep link; the transaction happens entirely within that app and your bank.
Storage & security
Data is stored in our cloud backend (Cloudflare). Passwords are hashed with PBKDF2 and never stored in plain text. Traffic is encrypted over HTTPS.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, delete groups and expenses, and log out to remove access on a device. Contact us to delete your account and associated data.
